Test Administration

The Test Administration section of Surpass is where you can schedule, invigilate, and mark tests. You can also view test results, re-mark tests, and view audit reports.

About the Schedule screen

There are two versions of the Schedule screen available – the Standard version and the Legacy version. About the Schedule (Standard) screen gives instructions on how you can schedule tests from the Schedule (Standard) screen. About the Schedule (Legacy) screen contains information on how you can schedule tests from the Schedule (Legacy) screen. This includes full instructions on how to schedule a test session and how to print an invigilation pack. You will also learn how to use bulk schedule to schedule test sessions for thousands of candidates or across multiple centres.

About the Invigilate screen

About the Invigilate screen gives instructions on how to use Invigilate. You will learn how to unlock an invigilated test and how to void a test. This section also features information on how to invigilate a paper test.

About the Mark screen

There are two versions of the Mark screen available – the Standard version and the Legacy version. About the Mark (Standard) screen looks at Mark (Standard), while About the Mark (Legacy) screen looks at Mark (Legacy). In both screens, you can mark a candidate’s script. You will also learn how to escalate and export scripts in the Mark screen.

About the Paper Mark screen

About the Paper Mark screen contains information on how to use Paper Mark. This includes instructions on how to mark a paper test in Surpass and how to escalate a paper script.

About the Moderate screen

About the Moderate screen contains information on how to use the various features in Moderate. You will learn how to moderate a script and how to package a script. This section also includes details on how to edit grade boundaries for a test form.

About the Results screen

About the Results screen contains information on the capabilities of the Results screen You can generate results reports and upload OMR results from either screen. You will also learn how to package scripts.
