Using the strikethrough tool in the test driver

IMPORTANT: The strikethrough tool is not available for answer options that contain subscript or superscript characters.

Candidates can strikethrough answer options in they believe are incorrect during a test. The strikethrough tool is available for Multiple Choice, Multiple Response, and Either/Or items.

This article explains how to use the strikethrough tool and remove unnecessary strikethroughs.

Strikethrough an option

Right-click an answer option to strike through it.

NOTE: If a candidate applies a strikethrough to an answer option they have selected, their selection is removed, and the strikethrough is applied.

Removing a strikethrough

To remove a strikethrough, right click the answer option again.

NOTE: If the candidate selects an answer that has a strikethrough applied to it, the strikethrough is removed, and the answer is selected.
