About audio

You can add audio to items in Item Authoring. Audio can be used to support question content or to aid candidates with accessibility requirements. Audio can be embedded on the page, or opened using external sources.

• Adding audio to an item – You can add audio to any question type in Surpass. The accepted file types are MP3 and WAV.
• Adding audio to an item set – You can add audio to item sets in Item Authoring.
• About the Surpass audio player – Candidates can listen to audio using the Surpass audio player. You can configure the controls available to candidates in the test driver.
