System Requirements
This article details the minimum system requirements for Surpass, SecureMarker, all the available test delivery methods, and the Surpass Viewer application.
NOTE: This article does not refer to storage limits for best performance, file size restrictions, or minimum/maximum entry requirements. For this information, read Limits.

Standard browser delivery
NOTE: As well as on desktop and laptop computers, Surpass tests can be taken in browsers on tablet devices.

Secure browser delivery
SecureClient for Windows
IMPORTANT: SecureClient for Windows will not start if Microsoft Office apps are already open on the device. Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) must be closed before opening SecureClient.

NOTE: Larger screens may need their display settings reducing to 1920 x 1080 pixels to improve usability. If resolution issues persist, enable the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings setting in the EXE file's properties.

Online-only secure browser delivery
IMPORTANT: Online-only secure browser delivery has some additional limitations. Ensure you read About online-only secure browser delivery before delivering any tests in secure browser mode. Secure browser delivery on iPad/Mac devices uses SecureClient, refer to the SecureClient for Mac and SecureClient for iPad minimum specifications if using iPad/Mac devices in secure browser mode.

Surpass (Legacy) tablet application
NOTE: The Surpass (Legacy) tablet application lets you take Flash tests on tablet devices. For more information, read About the Surpass (Legacy) tablet app. Surpass tests can also be taken in browsers on tablet devices, read 'Standard browser delivery' above for more information.
