Item Authoring

The Item Authoring section of Surpass is where you create and organise your content for tests. In Surpass, question and non-question test pages are known as “items”.

This page gives an overview of the Item Authoring OAPI section of the Surpass Help Site.

Using the Item Authoring OAPIs, you can create, read, update, and delete items, item sets, and their metadata in Surpass.

• Item OAPI – The Item OAPI resource is used to list, retrieve, create, update, and delete question items.
• ItemMetadata OAPI – The ItemMetadata OAPI resource is used to update tags assigned to items and their enemy relationships.
• ItemSet OAPI – The ItemSet OAPI resource is used to create and update item sets.
