Preparing to integrate with the scheduling system

Before you can interact with Scheduler by making requests to its endpoints, data must be configured correctly in both the Surpass Platform and Scheduler.

This article explains what pre-requisite data needs to be set up before you can interact with the scheduling system.

Setting up the Surpass Platform

The following must be configured in your Surpass Platform instance:

  • Users (with relevant permissions)
  • Centre
  • Subject
  • Test
  • Test Form
  • Candidates (optional – candidates can be created at the point of scheduling if they do not already exist in the Surpass Platform)

Setting up Scheduler

IMPORTANT: The pre-requisite data in Scheduler is set up by the Surpass Test Centre Network team. If you are interested in integrating with the scheduling system and therefore need your data in Scheduler set up, contact your Surpass Customer Success Manager.

The following must be configured in Scheduler:

  • Department
  • Client
  • Buildings
  • Rooms
  • Room Availability
  • Events
  • Modules
