Setting up Event Notifications Service triggers

To set up an integration with the Event Notifications Service, you must provide the Surpass team with information about the event you want to trigger a request, and to where you want the request to be sent.

This article details what information the Surpass team needs to set up Event Notifications Service triggers.

Information required by Surpass

Send the following information to your Surpass Customer Success Manager:

  • authentication details for your external system, if required – we pass basic auth details in a Base64 encoded username:password string in a header, or you can specify a key-value pair to be passed in a header
  • The event(s) you want to trigger a request to your endpoint(s)
  • The endpoint(s) you want to send a request to – these are your callback URL(s)
