Secure delivery

Our proprietary SecureClient application can lock down candidates’ devices to ensure a fair and reliable testing experience anywhere in the world.

SecureClient is a test delivery app with offline test support and built-in protections against internet and device failure. It also features lockdown capabilities that prevent candidates from leaving the test session.

SecureClient can be installed on Windows, Mac, and iPad. It can run both HTML (standard) and Flash (legacy) tests and has several unique features like the PDF viewer, high fidelity image viewer, and HTML Audio Capture questions with 60 minutes of recording time.

Surpass test driver

Tests delivered in SecureClient use the Surpass test driver, which enables efficient and reliable test delivery on multiple digital platforms. For everything you need to know about starting, taking, and finishing a test in Surpass, read Using the Surpass test driver in the Test Delivery section of the Surpass Platform documentation.

For information on the Surpass test driver’s accessibility, read Accessibility in the test driver in the Accessibility section of the Help Site’s Resources.

Test configuration

You can configure tests for SecureClient in both the Test Wizard (in Item Authoring) and Test Creation.

For more information, read About test types in the Test Wizard and Configuring a test for SecureClient from the Test Wizard and Test Creation sections of the Surpass Platform documentation.

Admin Console

The SecureClient Admin Console is where users can download multiple tests to a device in advance of a test session. If a test has been taken offline, users can manually upload the test to the server in preparation for marking.

For more information on the SecureClient Admin Console, read the Admin Console section.
