Surpass Help Copilot is an AI‑assisted chatbot designed to assist you with using the Surpass Platform and navigating the Surpass Help documentation. It uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI technology to generate answers based solely on the content published in Surpass Help. It does not access exam content, personal data, or customer‑specific materials, and is intended only to support your navigation and understanding of Help content.
IMPORTANT: Users must not enter personal data, test content, or other confidential information. Surpass Help Copilot should be used only for help‑related queries.
Before asking Copilot for help, please read the ‘Best Practice’ guidance, ‘Known Issues’, and ‘System Summary’ expandable sections below. Please also consider providing feedback so that we can continue to improve the Surpass Help Copilot chatbot.
When using Surpass Help Copilot, ensure you:
are clear and specific with your questions, using complete sentences
provide clear context by referring to specific areas of the Surpass Platform
use Surpass terminology, e.g. “multiple choice exam” rather than “level 4 HE1 exam”
break more complex queries up into separate questions
EXAMPLE: Which filetypes can be used as source material?
EXAMPLE: In SecureMarker, how do you enable double marking?
EXAMPLE: What happens if a candidate loses internet connection during a test taken in SecureClient?
Surpass Help Copilot sometimes:
provides URLs that do not exist
mixes up functionality with similar purposes and/or terminology, e.g. Test Wizard and Test Creation
presents minor formatting issues
